Faroe politician Høgni Hoydal, member of both the Danish and Faroe parliaments, has condemned the mass killings of civilians in an article posted on the website of the Faroe Republicans (the largest party in the country). Hoydal points to the breaches of international law, how the war coincides with the end of the Bush presidency and the upcoming Israeli election and how the war in Iraq has set a dangerous precedent.
