Israeli ambassador to Sweden shoed

The international trend of 'shoeing' strikes another victim, this time the Israeli ambassdor to Sweden Benny Dagan. Dagan, who was holding a pathologically apologetic lecture of unwaivering defense for war crimes and atrocities on civilians in front of a crowd of about 50 people at Stockholm University, had shoes, books and slogans hurled at him yesterday. Two persons were arrested by police at the scene. According to the Stockholm Police at least one object hit Dagan, making it the first shoe projectile to hit its target. Interestingly, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, denies this claim.

The following day, February 5, protests also erupted when Benny Dagan held a lecture at Linköping University. Protestors yelled 'Words don't blood away' ('Ord tvättar inte blod'). Five persons were detained by police. (Links: 1, 2, 3)
