Knesset member Barakeh assaulted by occupation forces in Hebron


Mohammed Barakeh, Knesset member of the Arab-Jewish Democratic Front for Peace and Equality (Hadash), was violently assaulted as Israeli police attacked an anti-settlement protest in Hebron, occupied West Bank, on Land Day. Reports: Maan, Hadash (in Arabic), Haaretz

Earlier on the day, the demonstration had been attacked by settlers, as protestors entered a street that Israeli occupation authorities have banned Palestinians from using.
