Statement by the Swedish-Cuban Association on the Gaza massacre

"The board of the Swedish-Cuban Association, which has 1 800 members, categorically declares its condemnation of the many repeated and serious crimes against human rights and international law which the terrorist state of Israel continuously commits against the Palestinian People. During the past month Israel has systematically massacred innocent men, women and children in Gaza.

Cuba severed relations with Israel over thirty years ago. Cuba has been at the forefront of the efforts to bring these war criminals to court. The 118 countries of the Non-Aligned Countries' Movement NAM, with Cuba as its chairing nation, is doing that. Cuba is also doing that as a member country of the United Nations Human Rights Council, and in general as an active participant in the work of the United Nations. UN experts on Human Rights have been assigned to the work of creating justice in this matter.

We demand:

that Israel must abide by the UN resolutions

that justice is brought about

that Israel be boycotted

Long live Palestine!
