In Nigeria, the Muslim Rights Council (MURIC) condemned Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in a statement issued yesterday. The statement also condemned the hypocritical policies of U.S. and British governments, and the use of the U.S. veto in blocking action in the U.N. Security Council. MURIC also called upon the Nigerian government to speak out against the carnage in Gaza.
